hospital. >> i joined for six years to be a combat photographer and videographer. i was really sick, and then the prescription turned out to be wrong. i couldn't get another appointment for a while. i cried. they actually mailed me my prescriptions so i didn't get it until three or four weeks later when i didn't even need it anymore. >> reporter: and with the continued problems, they continue to use the v.a. because these are benefits they have earned. announcing an additional $28 million for the health and hospital care system. it will be used to hire staff. the phoenix one is the first one that will receive new training on the system to caught back on inconsistencies, particularly the long wait times. some cities in the valley are not waiting for the v.a. to fix their own problems, instead stepping in to fill the gap for veterans. >> they identified something

returned phone calls. >> thank you. the remains of a war hero who had been stationed at luke air force base returned to the u.s. 10 years after he died. and the 16 fighting falcon pilot troy gilbert was killed in combat operations in iraq. the return of his body bringing closure to his family. team 12's brian west put together the following tribute to this >> a friend of mine was killed october 26,2006. trojan was an f.-16 pilot. troy was a first-class warrior and really it reflected what he was in life. he was a family man. he had five children when he deployed. about two months ago, some tribal leaders in iraq alerted american authorities that they did have his remains.

recover the body. we don't leave anyone behind, and when we have the opportunity to bring back a fallen soldier, sailor, airman or marine, we do that. >> the bridge was dedicated to trojan gilbert. it connects the two sides of the base. back in april, ginger gilbert, troy's wife, visited luke air force byes and we were able o her a chance, with family and friends, to see the bridge and see the memorial. it is important as we look back on all of our conflicts that we're paying attention to never leaving any of our service members behind. >> major troy gilbert's bid yes and five children were there to greet his flag draped coffin. she thanked all who searched for his body over the past 10 years.

day and the new poll says arizona is in auto dead heat between hillary clinton and donald trump. an independent poll shows clinton leading trump 43% to 42%. the firm also polled proposition 205, the ballot measure that would legalize marijuana in arizona. that, too, appears to be a dead heat. 45% opposing it and 44% say yes. legalize it. some of the claims being made opposing prop 205 come from leaders in colorado who have implemented there since 2012. take a listen. >> colorado now leads the nation and marijuana-related traffic deaths have increased 62%. >> we were promised new money for education. denver schools got nothing. >> those are some of the assertions being made against prop 205. as we explore this debate, joining me is the campaign manager nor in on prop 205. thank you for being here.

>> and they claim the deaths went up, and is that given that partisan-related crashes a broad term and does not necessarily mean that marijuana caused the crashes. >> at the end of the day the voter also have to answer the questions. the report has shown that marijuana traffic-related deaths have gone up 62%. is that a problem we want to have here in arizona? none of the things that we're seeing in colorado are things we want the see in arizona. it is not just the deaths. accidental ingestion from children of edibles. we're seeing all of the different consequences. the other side is running a very misleading campaign and we need to show the truth and that's what this campaign is about. >> and there is also the claim that there is the teen yous of marijuana. the state health department was not seen a rise in the use of pot and what we failed to show, basically, which is the basis of this claim, which is another

shows just over 12% of teens use this. why is one study more reliable than the other? >> the state city does not take into account for all of the counties. the federal study takes all of the counties in colorado. the other thing i would tell you is both studies show that marijuana use is up. something for the voters to really answer that question. do we want the see teen use rise in arizona? do we want to see accidental deaths or accidents from traffic deets and so on? arizona voters will have to decide. >> and saying the schools got no tax dollars for marijuana sales. it is not because the money wasn't available. it is because the district did in the apply for the funds a lot of people are saying wouldn't attacks on marijuana, whether it is legal or not, wouldn't attacks make sense to put more money into these schools? >> so another thing that the other side is saying, money is going to go to schools, completely false. proposition 205, the way it is written, the first revenue is

marijuana that's in the statue, and we encourage all voters to read that, the full length and every word of that initiative is up there. every word that is left over then goes to schools. what they're saying is going to go to schools not even enough to buy a single textbook for every single child that is in the arizona schools right now. >> an issue worth looking into on both sides. we appreciate your being here with no on prop 205. >> thank you. thank ou and one says he does not see any reason to keep sheriff joe arpaio's tent city open. he was the guest on this weekend's sunday square-off. and he discussed the problems in the sheriff's jails, including outdoor jail facilities. >> there's no need for it right now i know a lot of people are attached to it. what is best for taxpayers, for safety, for detention officers, and inmates for how we house them. >> you don't think there is a need for tent city?
